Chairman’s Report
Gary Neville gave a review of the first full year of SHAEF Shifters as an affiliated club. It has been a successful year in many ways and the full report was circulated to all members in advance of the meeting.
Treasurers Report
Ian Fullen advised we had recorded a profit of £261 for the year and this will be reinvested in the club.
Membership Report
Louise Atkinson reported we have 38 fully paid members with a further 2 members in the process of transferring from other clubs. We also have 5 members still to renew.
Kit / Communications
Owen Delaney informed that he had some kit for sale and other orders can be ordered via HUGGA directly. He requested feedback from members and any requests for more kit. On the IT side the website is working well and ideas were discussed including a calendar of events. Owen reminded people to try to use the Slack app for club messages.
Events / Coaching
Ravi Lobo spoke about the potential for updating the website to include training plans for all distances and performance levels. The race calendar was seen as being very important for the club. There was a discussion about the possibility of entering leagues – probably road events but potential for cross country and track. The Imber Court relays will take on Tuesday 25thJune and Nonsuch relays on 1stWednesday in July. We will also look to arrange the club handicap 5k event and social.
Election of Officers
The existing committee were re-elected and others who had offered to join will be co-opted at the next exec meeting.

Part Social – Celebrating the Year
The evening continued with a Q&A with Ross Murray – London 2012 Olympian, hosted by Justin Reid.
This was followed by the first ever club awards. The winners were;
Gary Neville - Male Runner of the Year
Kit Powney - Female Runner of the Year
Ian Collier - Club member of the year
Jon Stone - Shaef Shield
The evening finished with a fund raising raffle – raising £430 for club funds.
